What are the Awards?

Each year the Hobart City Council requests entries in the Dr Edward Hall Environment Awards, which recognise the efforts made by schools, communities and businesses in Southern Tasmania who conserve and protect the environment.

The awards aim to raise awareness of environmental issues and to provide education on the broad range of activities that can be undertaken to make a difference to our effect on the environment.
