Gregory Street Local Area Plan Review

The Gregory Street Local Area Plan was incorporated into the City of Hobart Planning Scheme as Schedule H in 1996.

A Gregory Street Local Area Plan Review document was released by the Council for a six-week consultation period commencing Monday 16 April 2007.

The owners and occupiers of property in the area covered by the Local Area Plan were provided with a copy of the Review document and were invited to presentations.  Members of the public were also invited to presentations.

Six submissions were received on the urban design issues and potential opportunities identified by the Review.

At its meeting of 30 July 2007 the Council considered a report on the feedback and resolved to adopt a program of action in relation to both private a public land.

In relation to statutory planning matters Council also resolved that:-
