Losing your pet can be a scary experience which is why you should always ensure your dog is identifiable through registration and being microchipped!
Dogs and Cats
Ensuring your dog is currently registered and wearing the registration tag will ensure that your dog is returned to you as quickly as possible if he or she is lost. When an Animal Management Officer does pick up a dog with that is wearing its registration tag, every effort is made to return the dog to its owner. If your dog cannot be identified it is taken to the Hobart Dogs Home.
