Animal Management after hours service
Hobart City Council provides an extensive after hours service, enabling Council to assist the public within the Hobart municipal area 24 Hours a day in relation to animal matters. Animal Management Officers are able to attend to most issues out of business hours, some including:
- a dog at large that has been contained
- a dog attack (depending on the severity and circumstances)
- an injured dog/animal
- injured wildlife
Officers do not attend to barking dog complaints out of hours, these complaints will be actioned on the next working day.
