ePlanning Portal

Council has introduced an ePlanning Portal that will enable you to access general property information (zoning, land size etc), track the status of current planning applications with Council and also identify previous planning approvals that have been issued for a particular property.

In addition, the portal enables access to planning scheme information specific to a property and also allows you to prepare and submit a planning application (fees apply).

The ePlanning Portal has 3 key areas:

  1. Property Enquiry.  The property enquiry module has been designed to provide general information about a selected property.  Information includes legal description, dimensions and zoning.
  2. Application Tracking.  The application tracking module has been designed to provide information about the status of selected application(s).  If you have lodged an application with Council, you will be able to track it using this function.  You can also use this function to identify previous planning approvals that have been issued for a particular property.
  3. Pre-lodgement Enquiry and Application Lodgement.  This module has been designed to provide planning information about a selected property.  The type of information includes the types of uses and developments which are allowed on a site and the planning controls relating to that type of use or development.  This module also allows you to lodge a planning application with Council by uploading documentation and paying the required fees.

To lodge applications online:

  1. Go to the pre-lodgement enquiry and application lodgement module.
  2. Either register as a new user or if already a user, log in.
  3. Follow the steps for a new enquiry (or if in the middle of an enquiry, continue on).
  4. This will then lead you into the steps required for lodging an application.  The first will be to select a property, then select the development type, then there will be more specific questions about the type of development involved.
  5. At the end of this process, there is the ability to lodge an application online.

Access all the modules via the ePlanning Portal.
