Tenders and Expressions of Interest (EOI)
Council conducts an open tendering process for purchasing activities as required by Council policy and in accordance with the HCC Code for Tenders and Contracts.
On 1 March 2012, Council adopted a new Code which will apply to all tenders commenced after this date. A copy of the new Code can be obtained through the following link: Code for Tenders and Contracts.
All public tenders for expenditure greater than $100,000 are advertised in the Mercury newspaper in the Tenders section. Generally, the advertisements are placed in the Saturday paper with the tender remaining open for a minimum period of 14 days.

All tenders initiated prior to 1 March 2012 are governed under the previous Code, a copy of which can be made available upon request through Council's Contracts Unit.
