The Sandy Bay Walking & Cycling Project community consultation attracted a high level of interest and a large volume of responses. All feedback is currently being analysed and compiled by the consultant.
It is expected that the consultation report will be finalised before the end of the year and following receipt of that report; a further report will be prepared for the Council's consideration in the new year.
Following the extensive community consultation process in 2008/2009 to identify future possible options of constructing cycling and walking facilities along Sandy Bay Road; the Council has undertaken detailed investigation and analysis to produce a concept design and welcomes community input.
