Hobart is an incredibly beautiful and internationally renowned city, which offers natural and cultural wonders to both the resident and the visitor. It is seen by many as an idyllic place to live and offers a lifestyle that is the envy of many other cities.
With any city though, there are social issues that require a well considered and strategic response and Hobart is no exception. By working on these social issues, Hobart will build on the strengths of its people to increasingly be a city that reflects a spirit of community inclusion and tolerance, values diversity and encourages participation by all ages in the life of their community.
