Community - Cultural - Events & Festivals Grants
The Council provides an annual Grants and Assistance Program through its three grants streams which consists of Community, Cultural and Events & Festivals Grants Programs.
However, at its meeting held on 16 April 2012, the Council resolved to defer advertising the Grants and Assistance Program for 2012/2013, including all three grants streams.
The Community Grants Program was deferred to enable a fundamental review of the Community Grants Program during 2012/2013, in consultation with the Council's Community Sector Reference Group, with a revised program being presented for the Council's consideration in early 2013.
The Cultural Grants and Events & Festivals Grants Programs were also deferred to allow for the finalisation of the current Arts and Cultural Strategy review currently being undertaken, with a further report to be provided to the Council once this work has been completed.
Further notification will be provided to the public after the completion of the reviews in 2013.
